Let’s Go Cyberspace

I’ve been exploring the internet, this gift of technology.
Truly, a sea of information on the net! It’s unbelievable but it’s real! We have engines that drive cyber culture, new media, and digital arts, among others. They’re modern layers of control and communication that unite lives and people.
Clicking from site to site takes you to different people who shares entertainment and knowledge, where only hard bound books/materials offered before. Today, you meet with media scholars that act as messengers: teachers, students, professionals, and people serving people. On a survey, from You Tube “People today do multi-tasking, and works more than 24 hours,” like studying, eating, doing phone calls, and working at the same time. This should mark an advancement of our lives. Yet, how far can our bodies stand stress and the demands of modern technology?
But here’s the good news, that even if there are no visible classrooms, teachers, and people around; the human brain expands to the fullest. The net android has walked far, and keeps running steadfastly. Next time, who knows, it could transform, fly, and talk with just one key pressed. Watch Star Trek and/or the Transformers!
Also, private managed tele-presence right in your office, and international meeting schedules can take place on a per/day pay and arrangement. This is brought by PLDT presence in partnership with other establishments. It’s the hottest collaboration tool, now. Mr. Manny Pangilinan, is the man behind PLDT success, with the community.
“The experience leaves you feeling like you have actually met the people on the other end of the line/net, with no delay. Everyone’s gestures are obvious and clear. It looks like people are sitting side by side. It’s an epiphany,” says one PLDT expert in a conference (Hot Joe, Magazine).
Online classes around the world are being conducted round the clock. Moreover, “Facebook” on the net – binds families, friends and communities together. Time Magazine puts Mark Zuckerberg (one of the youngest individuals, ever to be named by Time), as the “Person of the Year” (2010). Mark is the co-founder of the social-networking site Facebook.
Using the World Wide Web adds new and stronger communities of the world. Its magic is real. I mean everyone finds amazement and can relate online. Cyber culture is a gift of technology to the world/us. Using it wisely and sharing its benefits to everyone will bring us farther, more than what we can think about now.
Thank God for cyberspace!
Happy surfing!…

Wireless Headset Technology From Past to Present

Wireless technology is best known for making history in 1969 when the technology transmitted the famous first words from the moon “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind”. Since then, it has come a long way in the field of communications technology. These are now the choice for air traffic controllers, 911 dispatchers, the New York Stock Exchange and many other businesses that rely on wireless headset technology.
Headsets come in a number of models which allow you to:
• Integrate PC and desk phone communications with one wireless headset
• Unify PC and mobile communications throughout your office
• Connect to desk phones with performance, style and comfort all in one wireless headset
• Use a handset lifter for remote call answer and end capability
There are a number of wireless headset models which are both versatile and flexible. Compatible with most phones, light weight models provide up to 10 hours of talk at a time and those with small base stations can also be used as a charging station when you are not using the headset. Most batteries are a lithium ion polymer that can be fully charged in 3 hours. The life expectancy of most batteries is 1 to 2 years.
They offer a number of features that businesses will find extremely beneficial, including a good range – the user can walk or roam up to 300 feet from the desktop phone. The 1.9 GHz voice frequency was developed to eliminate interference and static humming no matter whether you are close or far from the base unit. A 64 bit digital encryption signal will ensure privacy at all times.
Some of these have up to four microphone options and four speaker controls to enable a better range and ability to fine tune the system to your personal phone and volume needs. Look for an up and down switch for setting the microphone sound level which will allow you to modify the level of sound and allow the person on the other end of the line to hear you better. Also look for a knob on the side of the base unit that will allow you to adjust the phone’s clearness.
These are also designed for comfort. There are several headband adjustments and ear pieces to choose from. The earpiece can be worn over the ear, over the head or behind the head using a neckband. These ear pieces can be used without the headband and weigh less than an ounce, making them ergonomically designed for comfort.
Ultimately, look for a well-known, highly trusted brand that provides superior wireless headsets. You want to find a versatile wireless headset than can be used in a number of environments including businesses, offices, at home or for personal use.…

A droid mobile is not less than a cup of a black coffee that stirs up your communication. A mobile that is designed by using an android operating system is commonly known as a droid mobile. Windows are the best operating system as far as the computing is concerned. However, for mobile devices the top most operating system is Android.
Mobile software that is composed of a middleware, operating system, and key applications, is called Android. The first Android software used in a phone was the HTC Dream in 2008. Initially, Android could not create ripples in the mobile world because of the presence of other high rates Smartphones like Apple’s iPhone, and Blackberry Storm, etc. It gained popularity after two years of its launch and by 2010 almost 44% Smartphone had purchased this software.
Though developers had recognized the potential of this mobile operating system at its launch but were reluctant to make investment for the development of its applications. There were many reasons behind their hesitance but the low sale rate of this software was the most prominent. In the success journey of Android, Google played a gigantic role through its Android developer challenge. It distributed $10 million as prizes in this challenge, which encouraged developers enormously.
Undoubtedly, the software was a big hit, but it required a device to exhibit its features. Android got a big push by Motorola when the company officially released the Motorola droid on the Verizon network for the first time in late 2009. This launch of Motorola was a great smack because it was supported by the two largest wireless carriers. The Motorola droid offers unprecedented pros to the users like the free installed Google Maps Navigation, and many more like that.
Android is an amazing open operating system that invites hardware and software developers to work on it in an absolutely free atmosphere. The openness of the Android operating system enhances the creativity of developers.
The openness of the software means that it is easily modified according to the preferences of the user and the new technologies. A droid phone has an edge over other Smartphones that it brings new technologies to the mobile phones. The Coming Wave of LED Street Lights

The development of LEDs is truly a silent technological revolution. While we have come to rely on them for so many devices, from mobile phones to DVD players, few of us dwell on the importance of these tiny light emitting diodes. However, the current interest in investing in LED street lights could change all that by bringing LEDs out into the open to light up our cities.
Although scientists developed primitive LEDs in the late sixties, it has taken some time to improve the efficiency enough to expand the practical uses of the technology. One major improvement, which is still a concern for some, is the intensity of the light. Some city administrators worry that LEDs are not bright enough to use on the streets. However, LEDs are constantly evolving and getting better, which has led many cities across the world to use them for street lighting.
A major reason for this is efficiency. City governments facing tight budgets have opted for LED street lights in an effort to save money. Compared to incandescent lights, LEDs are 50% more efficient. This saves money, despite the higher initial cost. They also last longer, which translates into even greater savings in the long term.
A more altruistic reason that accompanies the economic motive is to reduce carbon emissions. As global warming has become a concern, more local governments are waking up to the fact that their cities can help stave off carbon usage. Using this new form of lighting can mean a much smaller carbon footprint, as LEDs use fifty percent less carbon compared to other, more traditional forms of lighting.
LEDs also contain no mercury, a toxic material that has to be dealt with when lights are disposed of. While the amounts in each bulb are not large, given the millions of light fixtures across the world, making this change can have a positive impact on pollution levels.
Several countries already use LEDs for a variety of purposes, from street lights and traffic lights to signs in public spaces. The US has also seen a surge of interest in the technology as the federal government has encouraged investment in green technology as part of the stimulus package. This may help push LEDs into more common use in the United States.
Government administrators and citizens alike hope that LED street lights can bring about a brighter, cheaper and more eco-friendly future. If nothing else, these new lights will highlight the importance of this tiny technology that we so often overlook.…
