Zune Accessories

Zune Accessories

You were extremely good this year and someone loved you enough to get you a brand new Microsoft Zune, now it is time to dress it up. Zune accessories range from the necessary to the frivolous with all kinds of things in between. Which do you need?

Armband

Welcome to the future of portable media. Media players like the Zune come with large storage capacities; this requires an internal hard drive. This hard drive is sensitive to movement and can be damaged from excessive movement. A Zune accessories armband can free you from this concern.

Made of comfortable neoprene the armband will hold your Zune stable while you workout or do other strenuous activity, like mowing the lawn or shoveling snow as the case may be. All these activities are more fun with your favorite tunes playing in your ears.

Leather Case

Have to be out and about but not working out? Try the sleek and stylish leather case. Similar in concept to a cell phone case it clips to your belt, protects the Zune from bumps, and bruises it might get in the course of everyday use. One of the most attractive of the Zune accessories.

Speakers

Every now and again, you may want to listen to your Zune without the ear buds. To do this you will need external speakers, which are compatible with your player. Grab the Lansing In Motion portable audio system.

Created to provide crystal clear sound with surround technology. Perfect addition to the bedroom, kitchen, or home office. Powered by three batteries with 24 hours of playback capabilities. However if you prefer not worrying about battery life these speakers come with their own AC adapter. Now you can charge your Zune while listening!

Chargers

Some of the most important Zune accessories are chargers. Your player most likely came with a home charge, however what about when you are on the road? No worse time for your tunes to die than on a long road trip! Be sure to pick up a car charger for your Zune and perhaps an extra home charger to take on trips with you or just in case you lose yours!

Other Zune Accessories

We have covered the most requested Zune accessories but do not think that is all that is available. Zune has accessories a million; there is truly something for any taste and style.

Difference Between WPF and Microsoft Silverlight

Difference Between WPF and Microsoft Silverlight

Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and Microsoft Silverlight both can be used to develop rich internet applications based on XAML Framework. However, depending upon how you want your project to shape up, you need to choose between the two or integrate them.

An overview

WPF has provided developers a unified programming model that has a new graphical user interface (GUI) framework replacing the old “Windows Forms” and Win32 API. Its vector based and graphics processing unit (GPU) enabled drawing framework (DirectX) has the ability to create richer UIs with media and documents than does the Windows Forms. Using a declarative-based language XAML specifying vector-based graphics able to scale and take advantage of hardware acceleration, WPF can render a new level of user experience. One gets a consistent programming model for application building with a clear separation between the business logic and the user interface.

Microsoft Silverlight, a cross-browser and cross-platform implementation of Framework, is a small and lightweight hosting technology delivering next-gen rich interactive media and content over the web and developing browser-hosted rich internet applications (RIAs) that could integrate data and services from several sources. It also builds applications enhancing the typical end-user experience fairly significantly if you compare them with the traditional web applications.

How they differ

While WPF leverages the Framework and executes on the common language runtime (CLR), Silverlight is based only on a subset of XAML and the Framework executing on a browser-hosted version of the CLR. Hence, a lot of basic approaches building WPF applications fail in Silverlight. It supports little of the WPF component primitives and provides only one type of layout. So, if an existing WPF application is to be ported to Silverlight, it would mean rewriting of the whole UI-related code.

WPF applications run as standalone desktop programs or can be hosted in a website as an embedded object (on Windows only). However, browsers-based WPF applications (running only on Internet Explorer and Firefox on Windows) lose access to some functions and that does not happen with desktop applications. On the contrary, deployment of Silverlight applications can be done on more platforms (Windows, OS X, and Linux) and more browsers. Small and lightweight applications, they consume less infrastructure.

Conclusion

Though built on peaks of different run-time stacks, WPF and Silverlight share many common capabilities and features. Silverlight embeds WPF to provide web controls with more focus on a UI object model and less on animation. Alone, it misses many 3D functions and lacks widgets. Out of many such missing elements in Silverlight is the GUI. Many missing WPF Framework features in Silverlight give rise to subtle differences that have to be carefully considered when moving an application between Silverlight and WPF or when building an application that targets both WPF and Silverlight.…

Why You Should Purchase Technology Insurance From Educated Professionals

Many small business owners are very meticulous and careful when choosing their insurance company and their insurance coverages. Choosing the appropriate insurance broker to administer your insurance portfolio is just as important as the other two. The three-legged stool for success in putting together your technology insurance program is to choose the appropriate insurance company, the appropriate insurance coverages, and the appropriate insurance broker to administer your program.
The education of your insurance broker is one of the fundamental basics in warranting his or her qualification to administer your program.
The education of your broker can take many forms. The first form is the pure academic form that can be revealed in your brokers level of academic accomplishment. Looking for a broker with a college degree, and possibly an advanced college degree, such as an MBA, can be an important part of your insurance strategy.
Besides the pure level of academic accomplishments, having industry specific academic accomplishments within the insurance industry is extremely important. Some of the more common industry designations that are professional in nature are:
o CPCU -chartered property and casualty underwriter
o ARM – associate risk management
o CLU -chartered life underwriter
o ChFC – chartered financial consultant
There are other designations but they are of a lesser value mainly because the threshold for obtaining the designation is minimal at best. Usually only about 5% of the brokers United States have one of these designations.
A Technology insurance professional should have both the college academic level and the insurance industry academic level commensurate with the coverages that you are seeking.…

Penile Technology

Man fulfills his true definition of man by the satisfaction he gives to a woman.
The Big Daddy of the male genitalia is the penis. Little boys describe it as a means by which urine leaves the body but as they grow into men, they take pride in the penis as copulatory organ.
Some say the penis size does not matter because the vagina is an accommodating hostess, but rare is the man who thinks his penis is big enough, and rare too is the woman who disagrees. That’s why we have urologists who perform operations to enhance the penis.
Penile technology can lengthen the penis for three-eight’s of an inch to two inches, depending on the patient. The suspensory muscles hold the penis close to the body with no blood vessels or nerves cut.
Say’s Waldermar Alarkon, A psychiatrist, “Penile Technology… is the modern techniques in penile management and economics, and is a blend of the physician’s expertise and skill, plus the patient and partner understanding the desire.”
Definitely, it appraises patients with erectile dysfunction, and gives therapeutic decisions parallel to a conceptual modern diagnostic plan. Urologists determine whether the major disorder is impotence (inability to have erection), or the sexual dysfunction such as premature ejaculation or concerns regarding orgasm.
During the first visit a “goal-oriented therapeutic treatment plan is made. The plan involves the patient’s sexual partner. It is important that the partner understands each of the therapeutic choices including the expectations and complications.
According to Doctors Ronald Lewis and David Barrett, the major goal choices of patients with impotence are : 1) accepting the loss of vaginal penetration with a rigid penis and using alternative sexual gratification methods (which urologist fail to mention) 2) medical therapy 3) psychological sex therapy counseling 4) vacuum/ constriction devices which are an option for almost any type of dysfunction except for very rare circumstances 5) home pharmacological injections programs 6) penile prostheses and 7) vascular surgery.
Medical Management
If the patient gives a history of partial erectile dysfunction, and describes decreased libido or manifestations of thyroid, adrenal, or pituitary symptoms, then appropriate laboratory tests can verify the diagnosis of a disorder.
However, those who elect to go on intermittent injection therapy with parenteral testosterone should be followed every six months with a repeat prostatic specific antigen and rectal evaluation of the prostate.
Psychological Counseling
Almost every organically-based male erectile dysfunction patient will also have psychological overtones. It is often wise to have sexual counseling for the couple and use of the expertise of a sexual therapist in the treatment of all forms of male erectile dysfunction. If psychogenic impotence is thought to be the major cause of the patient’s impotence, the use of nocturnal penile tumescence (NPT) is recommended. “We feel that a good history and physical, as well as response to a pharmacologic erectile agent are steps that often preclude nocturnal penile erectile monitoring, ” Lewis says.
Vacuum Constriction Devices
The patient and his partners must be carefully instructed in the use of vacuum devices. Options should be available to seek further advise is the are not initially satisfied. Patient must also understand that ” erection obtained with this devise is full penile engagement, limited to the pendulous penis beyond the constriction band, therefore, it is not fixed. Also0, the penis will become slightly cold and bluish in color. Some patients dislike the lace of spontaneity of sexual intercourse with the use of these devises. For the most part though, satisfaction has been high for patients who have chosen these devices .
Pharmacologic Injection Therapy
The use of intracavernous pharmacological agents for the diagnosis and management of male erectile dysfunction has become extremely a commonplace. The agents most commonly used are papaverine with or without phentolomine and prostaglandin E-1 -PGE-1) or a combination of 3. “The penis erect for 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 2 hours depending on the dosage used, ” Dr Jaime Jorge of Mary Chiles Hospital relates.
Mandatory close follow-up of the patient ensures that any erection persisting for longer than two to four hours will be reversed with pharmacological antidotes. However, Dr. Jerry Santos of the UST Hospital says that priapism (painful erection of the penis might occur. “With this, gauge needle is inserted into the base of the penis to draw off 20-30 ml of blood.”
Penile Prosthesis
Placement of penile prosthesis for treatment of male erectile dysfunction has been very popular in the United States. The first completely rigid prosthetics were followed by semi-rigid devises, and finally various inflatable (hydraulic) devises. Modern penile prosthesis consist of two makor types of devices: semi-rigid and inflatable. The semi-rigid devices currently available are solid silicone cylinders with some type of metallic core or a cable connected interlocking plastic component system covered by a synthetic covering. The inflatable …

Doodlebugs and Microfibres: The Cutting Edge of Cleaning Innovation

Office cleaning companies looking to deliver high-quality services need to offer the latest technology. Some of this technology includes doodlebugs and microfibres – two technologies that have made a great breakthrough in the cleaning industry, and offer environmental benefits.
Microfibre has said to be the most significant innovation in the cleaning industry over the last hundred years, as not only has it consistently proven to be able to reduce time and energy spent on some tasks, but it’s also much more environmentally friendly than other products that are used. This is because the microfibre products do not require chemicals to help them clean.
Research has also shown that by using this kind of technology, back, shoulder and elbow injuries can be reduced in cleaners. Hence, this products is also providing better quality conditions for those who work in the hard world of commercial cleaning.
So what exactly is a microfibre? Usually, they are often found in kits that clean electrical goods, but when it comes to cleaning surfaces, microfibre cloths provide quick and easy ways of cleaning. These clothes look and feel relatively similar to regular cloths, but microfibre is currently leaps and bounds above basic cloths.
The major difference between these kinds of cloths is that in a microfibre cloth, the strands are so small that the human eye struggles to see them. This allows for greater quality cleaning.
Microfibre is a synthetic fibre that is made up of a blend of polyamide and polyester, and even sometimes nylon. When these materials are used together to form a single strand, they create an effective material for cleaning. These bundles are split into ultra-fine fibre using heat, agitation and a number of chemicals. This technology-based way of creating this new material is one of the biggest advancements in the industry, and has created a product that office cleaners would struggle to work without.
Of course, the environmental benefit of microfibre is important to cleaning management companies – but in reference to the NHS, microfibre is a key tool. Health care facilities have quickly taken to this technology, given that previously mops, chemicals and water would have to be changed when cleaning every room to avoid cross contamination. With microfibre, these requirements are not hard to meet.
Although many departments can benefit from microfibre, health care facilities have been quick to embrace this newer technology. In an effort to reduce cross contamination between patient rooms, some state laws in the US require that housekeeping department’s change out the mop and/or chemicals and water after every room. Using microfibre flat mops, this requirement isn’t difficult to meet. This is because microfibre material can be used in mops to make them more light weight and portable – meaning more than one mop can be carried at once. In turn this means that cleaning work can be performed much faster and efficiently, without having a negative effect on the quality of the work.
The Doodlebug is also used often in the cleaning industry, though perhaps not as much as microfibre. It’s a technological advancement in the industry and popular, and are usually sold in kits. These kits include the doodlebug scrub/strip pad, a pad holder, and rougher doodlebug scrub pads for harder jobs like removing wax or cleaning floor edges.…
